Meet the crew, Q&As and “making of" after the premiere.

Bakersteez is a Jamaican rapper on the way to his international career; Shama is determined to be Jamaica’s first pro surfer; Romar lives in the ghetto "Tivoli Garden" and takes us into the hard reality of his community as he takes his first step. These three young men show us the difficulty and ease of Jamaican life, providing the framework of a generation in transition. OUTDEH portrays the determination of a cultural and social change and invites us to believe in our own dreams too.

The soundtrack utilizes a mixture of classic Jamaican music, original songs, and Bakersteez’s trap to honor the nation’s legendary musicality and takes us on a journey to the new sound of this generation. Feat. Popcaan, Bakersteez, Koffee, Augustus Pablo, Mad Professor, Sizzla, Cali P & more.

OUTDEH was awarded “Best Music Documentary” and nominated for “Best Documentary” and “Best Cinematography”. At the Oscar selection festival SBIFF the movie was running in the International Documentary Competition.
