A contemporary fable, the film acts as a mirror reflecting our contradictions and a journey
into the core of what makes us human.
The film follows Hélène, a young activist
whose world is turned upside down after a failed armed attack on wealthy landowners. She flees into the forest and finds herself
completely alone until she is joined by Manon, a friend and accomplice who also becomes her greatest confrontation. Through
their tense and sometimes unsettling relationship, the film raises pointed questions about the legitimacy of violence, inequality,
radicalisation, and the limits of political action, themes that feel strikingly relevant today. Entirely hand-drawn, the film
embraces a graphic style that makes emotions tangible and creates a world that feels both raw and poetic.
